Perry and EMI records.
In August this year, Katy starred in a TV commercial shown in 8
European countries asking fans that had a certain 'spark' to be the
stars of her upcoming 'Firework' pop video.
'Katy's Project - The Story of Firework' showcases the lucky 250
'Sparks' that were chosen from thousands of entries, some of their
spark stories and their journeys to the video shoot in Budapest,
Through a personal call to action by Katy, fans were asked to
share their special 'spark' for a chance to appear in the official
video for Firework.The campaign launched on 'Katy's Project' and
social media websites. Fans from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech
Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Macedonia and Montenegro all took part
and their journeys were filmed along with their involvement in the
video shoot itself, which took place over 4 days in Budapest.
