Son of a reclusive greyhound trainer, Dave Ma is a versatile filmmaker with the ability to create beautiful and intimate imagery across a variety of mediums.
In music Ma has worked closely with UK band Foals, forging a long standing collaborative partnership across videos and press campaigns. Most recently he captured their Royal Albert Hall shows in London for his forthcoming feature documentary film, to be released later this year. Dave has also crafted MVA acclaimed music videos for the likes of Flight Facilities, Ghostpoet, The Horrors, & Delphic. Dave Ma's background as a photographer has elevated him into the world of commercials directing. He's helmed innovative and stunning visual content for brands including, Prada, Lastminute.com, Honda, Nokia and Absolut Vodka to name a few.
