Music forms part of our heritage and is an area where we strive to push the boundaries of what is achievable with creative collaboration. Pulse has made critically acclaimed documentaries including Shut Up & Play The Hits (Official Selection Sundance, SXSW) charting the final days of LCD Soundsystem, the Grammy-nominated Blur documentary No Distance Left To Run and the Paramount released Katy Perry – Part of Me 3D. Outside of film, Pulse is also recognized as one of the forerunners in music video and music content creation, consistently making dramatic visual stories that fuse seamlessly with artistic direction and heart.

Pulse works with many of the world’s leading brands and media agencies and has produced & conceptualised stand out brand funded content for the likes of Converse, Gucci, Adidas, Bushmills, Pedigree, ASOS, Grey Goose and many others. What sets Pulse apart from other production companies is our flexible model, our outstanding exclusive director roster and the ability to think beyond the thirty second TV spot format. As well as creating advertising for some of the world’s most unique and visionary brands, Pulse also specialising in the space between film making and interactive. For brands like Gucci, Adidas, Converse & Bushmills, Advertising agencies, Media owners and entertainment properties like VEVO, The Creators Project and Vice Media – it gives access to a wider diversity of talent and with a focus on audience engagement & behaviour and innovation.

This has enabled us to forge strong bonds and on-going relationships directly with some of the worlds leading & most discerning talent, artist management companies, labels and leading industry figures. For us music today represents more than selling records or tickets. Our structure means that we can operate both as a straight production company but also increasingly on a more strategic level as a true content partner. Pulse can oversee and manage content distribution across entire campaigns and multiple platforms. Pulse has worked on several high-profile branded campaigns featuring musicians. Director duo D.A.R.Y.L. created a series of branded commercials featuring Selena Gomez for Adidas’ Neo Youth Brand, and Pulse also created a branded content campaign for Gucci for their ‘Chime For Change’ initiative featuring Beyonce Knowles-Carter and a host of other global entertainers & ambassadors. We have partnered with Converse & Cornerstone to create an award winning series of branded ‘Represent’ live concerts from the legendary 100 Club venue in London and have now rolled this out across the US & Europe. The series won Best Branded Content Campaign at the Music Week Awards in both 2012 & again in 2013.
